Its new \u003Cem data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1229\">Communities of Learning Strategy\u003C/em> positions lifelong learning as a driver of economic, social, and civic development for Francophone minority communities. It helped us better understand what literacy truly means. Sessions focused on skills recognition, the development of \u003Cem data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2163\">Francobadges\u003C/em>, and the competency frameworks for \u003Cem data-start=\"2199\" data-end=\"2218\">Skills to Succeed\u003C/em> and \u003Cem data-start=\"2223\" data-end=\"2241\">Skills to Thrive\u003C/em>, designed to better reflect the realities of Francophone minority communities.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp data-start=\"2322\" data-end=\"2685\">Participants also explored initiatives such as TOPO, a RESDAC tool designed to better identify the needs of Francophone communities, as well as the \u003Cem data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2499\">Library of the Americas\u003C/em>, which recently partnered with RESDAC to increase access to educational resources for Francophone minority communities across Canada while expanding their reach throughout the Americas.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp data-start=\"2687\" data-end=\"2849\">These discussions will directly support the ongoing development of \u003Ca href=\"https://www.cnordique.ca/en/news/new-bilingual-literacy-outreach-centre-opens-in-yellowknife\">Collège Nordique's Community Literacy Centre\u003C/a> and its initiatives related to skills recognition.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch1 data-section-id=\"rlrna7\" data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2908\">Northern Expertise Inspiring Communities Across Canada\u003C/h1>\n\u003Cp data-start=\"2910\" data-end=\"3143\">The meetings also provided an opportunity to revisit the Pan-Territorial Learning Summit organized just a few weeks earlier by Collège Nordique, the \u003Cem data-start=\"3059\" data-end=\"3090\">Association franco-yukonnaise\u003C/em> (AFY), and the \u003Cem data-start=\"3106\" data-end=\"3136\">Association franco-nunavoise\u003C/em> (AFN).\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp data-start=\"3145\" data-end=\"3395\">As highlighted in RESDAC's annual report, provincial and territorial summits are among the key pillars of its \u003Cem data-start=\"3255\" data-end=\"3289\">Communities of Learning Strategy\u003C/em>, and the three-territory summit already represents an important contribution to this national initiative.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp data-start=\"3397\" data-end=\"3480\">The model developed in the North attracted considerable interest from participants.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cblockquote data-start=\"3482\" data-end=\"3731\">\n\u003Cp data-start=\"3484\" data-end=\"3731\">\"Many people asked how we managed to organize a summit involving three territories, multiple time zones, and a two-day hybrid format.
