Spring on the land Camp

Get ready for a friendly and cultural afternoon outdoors! This student activity invites you to discover Dene traditional life on the land of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, just minutes from Yellowknife.

On the program: bannock and fish preparation, local plant knowledge, and hide tanning. An authentic opportunity to connect with the land and culture while sharing a meaningful experience with fellow students.
