This workshop is intended for early childhood educators and Francophone parents living in the North (NWT, Yukon, Nunavut, Canada).
Offered online and on site by the Collège Nordique, this practical and informative workshop is facilitated by Pier-Maude Lanteigne. Proudly Francophone and of Acadian origin, Pier-Maude grew up in Caraquet, New Brunswick, before pursuing studies in family medicine and addiction medicine. Iel has been working in Iqaluit, Nunavut, since 2022.
This workshop will allow you to:
• Observe and interpret children’s behaviours
• Understand the main stages of development
• Create an environment that supports healthy development
You will leave with a clearer understanding of the key motor, cognitive, language, socio-emotional, and sensory developmental phases of young children aged 0 to 5.
