Free
This French course is structured into progressive modules that guide learners in developing a strong understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), while recognizing the specific issues faced by Indigenous peoples in the Northwest Territories within a broader context of human diversity.
It offers a reflection rooted in the northern reality, where multiple facets of diversity coexist. The modules begin by exploring the key concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion, followed by an examination of the historical, social, and cultural realities of Indigenous peoples. Special attention is given to the recognition of ancestral rights and Indigenous claims through a social justice lens.
The course then invites participants to engage in introspection on unconscious bias, exploring its impact in both professional and community settings. Each module is designed to strengthen individual and collective capacities to foster more inclusive, respectful, and equitable environments.
