The Talent Incubator is an acceleration program designed to support young Francophones in the North in bringing their projects to life, whether personal or stemming from post-secondary studies.

This program is structured around three complementary components, designed to provide you with an ideal framework to develop and advance your projects.

Élan Pathway

As part of the incubator, Collège Nordique offers the Élan Pathway, a growth accelerator designed for young Francophones in the North.

This structured program, offered every other Saturday, includes:

  • wellness activities in the morning;
  • personal development workshops (coaching, public speaking, design thinking, etc.);
  • dedicated personal work time in the afternoon focused on your projects.

Mobility Support

Do you have an academic, professional, or personal project that you would like to present at a conference outside the Northwest Territories?
This component provides concrete support, with funding of up to $2,000 to help you attend a conference or training opportunity.

Mentorship

The mentorship component is based on pairing participants with mentors who will support you in developing your projects or advancing your career path.

Participant Experiences

Throughout the first cohort, a series of podcast episodes will be recorded with participants, mentors, and guest experts. These episodes will give a voice to those involved, allowing them to share their journeys, their learnings, and behind-the-scenes insights into their projects. They will offer an authentic look at the creative processes and reflections that emerge throughout the program. This series aims to document the incubator experience while showcasing participants’ initiatives and inspiring the broader community.

This project is made possible thanks to the support of the Réseau Dialogue through the VIF program, with the financial support of the Government of Canada.
