Previously, Gakah worked at the Social Planning Council of Ottawa, where he was responsible for community economic development and the YESS program. With a wealth of experience in settlement and employment, he joined CDETNO in December 2023 as a settlement counsellor. He enjoys reading and playing basketball. He holds a degree in political science.
