Collège Nordique's Internal Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA) Committee is a standing committee dedicated to fostering a respectful, equitable, and inclusive learning and working environment.
Made up of employees and student representatives, the committee serves as a space for reflection, dialogue, collaboration, and the co-creation of initiatives that support the development of an organizational culture based on listening, participation, and continuous improvement.
The Internal EDIA Committee's mission is to foster a respectful, equitable, and inclusive learning and working environment for the entire college community.
The committee supports the development of practices, policies, and initiatives that value the diversity of identities, experiences, and perspectives while helping to create an environment where everyone can fully participate in college life with dignity and respect for their rights.
The Internal EDIA Committee works toward the following objectives:
The Internal EDIA Committee currently includes:

In March 2026, Collège Nordique launched its first Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Community of Practice, bringing together Francophones interested in collectively exploring issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion while co-developing practical solutions and initiatives.
Collège Nordique's Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA+) Community of Practice is a collaborative learning and dialogue network that brings together Francophones from the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut.
The community encourages the sharing of experiences, collective reflection, and the co-creation of solutions tailored to the realities of Francophone communities across Northern Canada, helping to build more equitable, inclusive, and accessible environments.
The EDIA+ Community of Practice aims to bring together committed Francophones from the three territories to foster the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and resources related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Its mission is to strengthen practices, support the development of initiatives that reflect northern realities, and transform individual actions into lasting collective impact for Francophone communities across Northern Canada.
The Community of Practice pursues the following objectives:
The Community of Practice is open to any Francophone living in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut who wishes to contribute to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Members participate in their personal capacity, guided by collaboration, respect, and openness. Together, they share their knowledge, experiences, and ideas to develop solutions that address the challenges facing Francophone communities across Northern Canada.
Would you like to help build more equitable and inclusive Francophone communities across Northern Canada?
The EDIA+ Community of Practice welcomes all Francophones from the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut who wish to share their experiences, learn from others, and contribute to the co-creation of meaningful solutions.
