In one year, learn the fundamentals of organizational management by being introduced to accounting, technological tools, human resources management, and marketing.
Offered in partnership with Collège La Cité, this program is divided into two stages and delivered fully online, with both asynchronous and synchronous weekend courses.
By the end of the program, you’ll be able to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and build strong business relationships. You’ll also learn to use technological tools to improve an organization’s performance.
Graduates will be equipped to navigate dynamic professional environments, combining technical and interpersonal skills to make a meaningful contribution to their organization’s success.
Note: This program is open only to permanent residents or Canadian citizens residing in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut.

The intensive synchronous courses take place over two full weekends, scheduled every other weekend, with classes held on Saturdays and Sundays.
Between weekends, students are expected to dedicate time for assignments, readings, or research, averaging about one hour per day to complete these activities.
Asynchronous online courses are available at any time and are not tied to the intensive weekend schedule. These courses extend over several weeks, requiring students to follow the timeline provided to complete their readings and assignments.
To be accepted into the program, applicants must hold at least one of the following secondary school diplomas:
Applicants aged 19 and over who do not hold one of the credentials listed above must successfully complete the Mature Student Test, which includes two assessments. The applicant must take the tests on the “Compétences pour réussir” platform, covering the following diagnostic areas:

To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold one of the following statuses:
1. Complete the program application form
Applicants must complete the online application form to determine their eligibility for the Business Administration Practices program.
2. Eligibility verification
The Student Experience and Quality Assurance team will review the applicant’s eligibility within 3 business days of receiving the application.
If eligible, the applicant will receive an email with instructions to proceed with registration.
3. Payment of the application fee
Once eligibility has been confirmed, applicants must pay the $150 application fee through the Ontario Colleges (OCAS) website.
4. Submission of supporting documents
At the request of Collège La Cité, applicants will need to provide the following documents and/or complete the Mature Student Test:

5. Offer of admission
After reviewing submitted documents and confirming eligibility, Collège La Cité will issue an official offer of admission. The offer must be accepted by the student through the Ontario Colleges portal (www.collegesontario.ca).
6. Payment of tuition fees
Once the admission offer is accepted, students must either make a minimum deposit of $100 and sign a payment agreement, or pay the full fees for Stage 1.
7. Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
Students may request recognition of prior learning through Collège La Cité if their previous professional or personal experiences demonstrate mastery of a course’s learning outcomes.
This process recognizes skills gained through employment or life experience, without transferring official credits. Recognition of prior learning may exempt students from certain courses and reduce the total number of study hours.

Tuition fees can be paid in full upon receipt of the invoice or through a payment agreement with Collège La Cité to spread out payments.

It is recommended to plan between 10 and 15 hours per week for readings, assignments, and online coursework.
This estimate includes the workload for synchronous courses (those held on weekends) but does not include the actual class time.
Keep in mind that this is a college-level program, which requires a serious commitment, even with its flexible course format. For individuals with other obligations, it is possible to complete the program on a part-time basis.
An open work permit does not allow you to enroll in a program leading to a certificate or diploma. However, individuals with this status may take up to four courses from a program without any issue.
After submitting an application, the College requests proof of status, usually within two business days. In the same email, a link to the admission tests is provided — these tests give immediate results.
If the applicant submits proof of status quickly and passes the admission tests upon receipt, the entire process typically takes 4 to 5 business days. Please note that even if a WES equivalency is provided, the admission tests remain mandatory.
