Have you worked, or are you currently working, in the field of early childhood education? Do you have more than six months of full-time experience or the equivalent?

Through the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process, your skills can be officially recognized, allowing you to complete the Early Childhood Education program more quickly. This program is offered online by Collège Nordique in partnership with Collège La Cité.

Who is this process for?
The Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition process is intended for individuals who:

  • Have at least six months of full-time experience in the field of early childhood education in Canada.
  • Wish to obtain the Early Childhood Education diploma.
  • Are admitted to the Early Childhood Education program at Collège Nordique.

This process is offered by Collège Nordique, in collaboration with Collège La Cité, an institution recognized for its expertise in prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR) and early childhood education.

Teaching mode
100% online (synchronous and asynchronous)
Duration
Plan for approximately 40 hours to complete the evaluation process, spread over a period of 4 to 6 weeks.
When
The PLAR process begins during the first study session.
